Safeguarding

Trinitas can support you with a range of safeguarding services including:

 

  • Full day - Advanced Safeguarding Lead training

  • 2 hours - Level 2 Safeguarding training for SLT, Heads of Year and Pastoral team 

  • 2 Hours - Basic Safeguarding Awareness training (all staff) including ½ termly  mop-ups

  • 90 minutes - Children missing in education (CME) 

  • 1 hour - Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) 

  • 1 hour - Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) 

  • 70 minutes - Witchcraft and Possession 

  • 1 hour - So Called Honour Based  Violence 

  • 1 hour - Peer-on-Peer Abuse (Primary settings)

  • 70 minutes - Black Minority Ethnic Parents Awareness (BME)

  • 1 hour - Working with Parents (NQTs only) 

  • 2 hours - Governors Roles and Responsibilities training (Secondary and Primary)

  • 40 minutes - Safeguarding Ofsted Ready

  • 80 minutes - Signs of Safety

 

Services include and are not limited to:​

  • Strategic overview of safeguarding policies, procedures, systems and structures to ensure required standards

  • Ensure that leaders across the Trust are updated accordingly with any statutory or mandatory information

  • Review of statutory compliance of safeguarding

  • Periodic monitoring of the arrangements of child protection

  • Advisory for safeguarding issues & emergency assistance

  • Manage and overview safeguarding training

  • Child protection training

  • Induct new members of staff in safeguarding and child protection

  • Work with children and families

  • Submit safeguarding reports to other external agencies in required formats and timescales

  • Innovate ideas and visions to further support safeguarding
